From here you'll stretch your legs with walks out into the countryside and around whitewashed villages. Taking to mountain bikes you'll be able to go further afield, with great views out across to Morocco and the chance to visit Cape Trafalgar ' famous for Nelson's victory. Then onto the water to kayak around the beautiful Barbate Lake, where a stray splash is a great way to cool off as the temperature rises.
There's stacks to do and plenty of time to chose your preferred option; the Straits of Gibraltar are a fantastic spot to see dolphins and whales on a boat trip. Sticking to the land, why not go horse riding, canyoning or walking in the spectacular Alcornocales Natural Park. If you want to relax a bit you can opt to spend time on the long sandy beaches of the area ' or spice it up by trying your hand at windsurfing.
